Diversity will be illustrated in a broader perspective relating to gender , race, culture, religion, ability/disability. The importance and relevance of the Anti-Bias approaches such as anti racist, anti sexist, anti ableist, anti homophobic in the current context of early childhood will be discussed. The perspectives presented in this chapter will be illustrated with examples, case studies and reflection points to aid understanding.
